Everton defender Ben Godfrey could be set for Champions League football next season with AC Milan keen, talkSPORT understands.
The 26-year-old may find himself out the Goodison Park exit door this summer in what would be a huge blow for boss Sean Dyche.

Godfrey featured sparingly during the first half of the 2023/24 season, which saw him make just two Premier League appearances from the opening 17 games.
But he managed to win his place back in the starting XI, where he was used in both full-back positions.
However his future remains unclear with the natural centre-back tied down at Everton until 2025.
And this has seen Milan, who finished second in Serie A, to eye up the two-cap England international as a potential option.
Should Godfrey make the move to the San Siro, he would link up with fellow Three Lions stars Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Everton know they will have to take a huge financial loss on Godfrey having signed him in a deal rising to £25million from Norwich in 2020.
Milan’s Italian rivals Atalanta also remain interested in the player, with Gian Piero Gasperini’s side to also be playing in Europe’s premier competition following their Europa League triumph.
Godfrey was the subject of interest from Atalanta during the winter transfer window, but a deal couldn’t be reached with the Merseyside outfit.

Since joining Everton four years ago, Godfrey has made 93 appearances in all competitions.
His impressive form in his debut campaign saw him named as the club’s Young Player of the Season.
And it also earned him a place in Gareth Southgate‘s provisional Euro 2020 squad.
He featured in the warm-up friendlies against Austria and Romania, but subsequently was omitted from Southgate’s final team.
